The turbo rim blade has gained popularity over the past ten years and secures a stealth spot in the diamond blade category- particularly in the 4" through 10" diameters.
Simply put, the continuous rim design can take significantly more abuse than a traditional segmented blade.
There is a much smaller chance of knocking a tooth loose or bending/tweaking a segment.
While the Turbo rim will give a better, more precise finish than the traditional segmented blade, it tends to cut a bit slower- due to the amount of surface area grinding at the aggregate.
